SVS- SENIOR SOCIAL VISITING SERVICES We send social sitter visitors to increase social relationships to avoid isolation of seniors who are in the community who may not be active with senior centers.

Our social sitter program is designed to combat isolation among seniors in the community may not be active with centers. Our visitors engage in various activities such as playing games, reading, watching TV, and even setting up video chats with family members. We also facilitate visits between two seniors who are friends so they can video chat and break the isolation due to lack of transportation or disabilities. Our program builds social relationships and encourages seniors to be more active in social emotional activities they enjoy.

Our social visitors will meet with seniors aging in place as doctor ordered, to encourage the senior to be more active in social emotional activities they like. The visits can be monitored interactively via. tablets with distant family members through videos or facetime to involve them as scheduled. Doctors or family can request visitation reports or have them in real time with family observations during the visitations.
